With the Bengali festival of the goddess Durga in the offing, here is another photo-story.

can I exist?

the question remains still

even when broken

how holy do you feel?

living is but waiting

suppressing the scream

unseeing is fated

escape is a dream

voice there is little

pain there is much

the path is never easy

fate is mostly such

privilege is a myth

but indignity stands tall

the light does no justice

redness is all

The pics, vocal & vibrant, script a narrative of their own. Mostly in monochrome, they mirror some unseemly realities. Of forced silences, helplessnesses, and nihilistic absurdity, it’s a sentient story.

Every image is special, yet, ‘ Privilege is a Myth’ struck a chord.
